Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve
Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve encompasses 300 square miles of cool pine forests, cascading waterfalls, crystal clear rivers, enormous caves, and fantastic vistas of rainforests. Mountain Equestrian Trails is located along the northeastern edge of this protected area within the limestone karst, broad-leafed rainforest. Highlights of a Mountain Pine Ridge vehicle tour are 1,000’ Hidden Valley Falls, Rio On Bathing Pools, and Rio Frio Caves.
